Charles Mann
Senior Math Tutor
Charles has over a decade’s worth of experience tutoring mathematics at various levels, both privately and at tuition centres, and he is currently studying to gain a double degree in Science and Secondary Education at Macquarie University. During the little free time he has, Charles keeps out of trouble by gaming, volunteering, and spending time with family.
Mia Atkinson
Biology Tutor
Mia is a dedicated educator with a background in medical science, currently pursuing a Master of Teaching in Secondary Education. Beyond teaching, she actively engages in volunteering and has a passion for sports. Mia is known for her passion and commitment to her students.
Usman Khan
Senior math tutor
Usman is the co-founder of Growth Academy and has 20 years of experience teaching Senior Mathematics. His unique teaching style and depth of knowledge has benefited thousands of students. Usman loves sports, gaming, spending time with family and giving back to the community.
Deon Testore
Senior English Tutor
Deon has been tutoring ever since he completed his HSC in 2018, with highly distinguished results in English Advanced, Extension 1 & Extension 2. His passion for English is something he imparts on all his students, which not only leads to academic success, but personal growth aswell.
Deon has completed a Bachelor’s degree in the Liberal Arts (Philosophy, Literature, History & Thelogy) and is currently in his final year of a double degree in Law & Communications. Deon is employed at a prestigious criminal law firm in the heart of Sydney, and is on track to be admitted as a Solicitor in the Supreme Court on NSW by February 2025. His combination of legal experience, English achievements, and oratory prowess makes him especially skilful in translating difficult academic concepts to student-attaible levels.
Deon enjoys tutoring English because he believes it is often ignored when compared to STEM subjects like Mathematics or Physics, but is no less centrally relevant to a student’s success in the ATAR and wider workforce. Accordingly, he shifts his students’ persepective on English away from something enigmatic and nonsensical, to something practical, enjoyable, and deeply fulfilling.
Ali Dinch
HSC Physics Marker and Tutor
Introducing Ali, an esteemed educator with a Bachelor of Science in Nanotechnology (Honors). Ali’s journey in teaching began in 2012, and he currently serves as a HSC Physics marker. With a wealth of experience garnered from instructing at numerous prestigious schools and coaching centers across Sydney, Ali’s physics classes are renowned far and wide, drawing students from distant locales to benefit from his unparalleled expertise.
Beyond the classroom, Ali finds joy in leisurely afternoon walks with his family and bonding over PlayStation gaming sessions with his children
Hamza Khan
Senior BIOLOGY & MATHS tutor
Hamza has been tutoring since he finished his HSC in 2020. With a keen interest in Science and Math, he achieved great marks in Advanced Mathematics, Chemistry and Biology and graduated with an atar of 95.95.
Hamza has completed his Bachelor of Medical Science at UNSW and majored in Human Physiology. With 3 years of experience in research, he desired clinical experience and is set to commence the Doctor of Dental Medicine program at USYD in 2025 after transferring from the Dental program at Griffith University.
